About Me
I am a full-stack website developer and Linux system administrator. I trained in web development way back in 2001, at the Computer Graphics College in Sydney, Australia. Upon graduation, I worked as a freelance front-end developer for around 12 years — coding PHP, ColdFusion, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
In 2005 I started operating my own servers; offering hosting and development services to my growing client list. I taught myself Linux, and I now have over 10 years experience with BASH, MySQL, Python and server administration.
My broad technical experience bridges the WordPress ecosystem and hosting technology — positioning me well for complex, high-demand and enterprise-level WordPress projects.
Returning to NZ from Australia in 2009, I started planning my next move and in 2013 I launched WP NET, NZ’s first dedicated WordPress hosting and support business.
Pre-2000 I enjoyed a six-year career in music production. Most of that time as mastering and post-production engineer at (the now defunct) York Street Recording Studios.
My availability varies with current workload, however — if you have a project you would like to discuss you can contact me.
